What can I say?
There are three kinds of people; only two seem to be common: Those that, when presented with an option to write a ‘bio’, say far too much or far too little. Let me take a stab at falling somewhere in the middle:
I’m a father of two, oldest of three.
I live in Michigan, and have done so all of my life except for vacations elsewhere. Some people say it does nothing but snow; I’d like to point out that we have a wonderful summer, but if you’re out of town on that weekend you really miss out.
I lack any formal education past high school and, at the time of this writing, mean to correct it by attending the local community college. They’ll give me a little piece of paper that says I’m qualified to be paid more money and hopefully things will improve (financially if not ever other way) from there.
I own my own business. Actually it’s more of a hobby-that-occasionally-generates-income but I enjoy the work I do even if there isn’t enough of it for me to make a living doing simply that.
I love my children and I like to think of myself as a decent parent. I also harbor an intense dislike of those who are neither decent parent nor love their children. They know who they are.
I try to remain positive and laugh at every opportunity. That doesn’t stop me from being a grouchy pain in the ass every so often, but I’ve realized that dwelling on the negative does little to improve your well-being so I try to limit myself to once a week. It rarely works but it’s nice to have goals.
I am one of those individuals that, if it were possible, would have some sort of data jack on my person that would allow me to connect directly to all things technological. If there were then a way for a person to immerse themselves in works of fiction through the same data port I would never leave my room except to take my children to do something fun or, you know, bathe.
I will have to end it here, well aware that it doesn’t even come close to a life story (some would be grateful for that) but it is enough to get started. Adding more would be bothersome to read, subtracting any would defeat the purpose. If more information is sought, questions are welcome.
